李菡
 李菡,湖北仙桃人,1986年去美国,就读于美国的University of North Carolina, 1988年五月获健康教育学硕士学位。 同年夏去加拿大,就读于 University of Victoria 心理学系,1991年获心理学硕士学位,1994年获心理学博士学位。 同年秋开始在加拿大的University of Northern British Columbia 大学心理系任教。 现为该校心理系正教授,博导。本学期在外国语学院英语专业短期任教。李菡教授主讲的课程有跨文化心理学及跨文化人际交流,健康心理学,性格学理论。李菡教授的科研方向主要在跨文化心理学及跨文化人际交流和健康心理学及医患交流。 除了在十几种国际刊物上发表学术论文外,她于2004年在加拿大出版了用英语写的长篇小说《荷花池塘》。温哥华太阳报称之为“扣人心弦”;乔治王子城报“书之冠”;女王时报“人物多彩,风趣,敏锐。语言呈流质型,优美。”《荷花池塘》已被译成德语,并于2008年初在德国出版。
